Privacy

We collect as little as possible.

Country — a 2-letter country code per flag, to power country rankings. Derived from your connection; no precise location.
A wallet id — a random id stored in your browser's localStorage so purchased flags stay yours. No account, no password.
Email — when you buy flags, the email you pay with (from Paddle) backs up your flags so you can recover them on another device; we send one note confirming that. You can also save an email yourself, or leave one to hear about a requested fandom. Never used for marketing. Sent through our email provider, Resend.
Short-lived IP — used briefly to rate-limit free flags and prevent abuse, then discarded.

We use browser localStorage (not tracking cookies) to remember your wallet id and small preferences. Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record; card details go to Paddle, never to us.
